Message from the Director
Welcome to the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology at Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa.
I am pleased to welcome students, staff, faculties and partners. The Directorate keeps the University’s digital services reliable: the campus network and internet, official email, websites, and the systems that support admission, registration and learning.
We report to the Vice-Chancellor’s Office. The work is organised in four units — Management Information System, the Network Operation Center, the Maintenance Service Unit, and e-Learning and Training — so that a request reaches the team that can act on it.
The Directorate is in the Senate Building. The helpdesk is open from 9AM to 5PM. Write to icthelpdesk@slu.edu.ng for a fault, an account, a website or a training request. Do not send your password.

The office is responsible for
- The campus network, internet service and computer laboratories.
- University email and user accounts.
- University websites and the sites of faculties, departments and units.
- Student and staff portals, the learning platform and connections to library, records and payments.
- The helpdesk, information security and staff training.
- Advice to University Management on digital services.
